Professional experience – over 18 Years

Alyona Prasol is the Head of Civil and Commercial Law Practice, an attorney at law with over 18 years of experience spanning work in the private sector, law firms, public authorities and state-owned enterprises. Her professional profile combines extensive litigation practice, a systemic understanding of regulatory mechanisms and experience in legal support of complex disputes in strategically important industries.

Over 5 years of work at the State Property Fund of Ukraine provided her with practical insight into the mechanisms of state property management, privatisation and corporatisation procedures, as well as judicial protection of state interests. This experience enables her to effectively build a legal position in disputes involving state authorities, state-owned enterprises and matters related to public assets.

A significant part of her recent practice encompasses commercial disputes, labour disputes (including protection of employees’ rights in cases against large state-owned companies, as well as employers’ rights), family law, banking and credit disputes. In her work she applies a structured approach to case analysis, focusing on the evidentiary basis and procedural strategy that accounts for both the legal logic and the practical realities of the client’s business – enabling her to achieve results in complex and contentious proceedings.

One of the key areas of her professional activity has been energy law – one of the most complex and dynamic sectors both in Ukraine and worldwide. Alyona has represented the interests of electricity traders and suppliers in high-value disputes, including international commercial arbitration. She has practical experience in applying energy sector legislation, European regulation of wholesale energy markets (REMIT), market participant registration, contractual relations between market participants (traders, consumers, the Regulator, etc.), and has participated as a speaker at professional events dedicated to enforcement issues in this field.

Alyona Prasol’s professional authority is reinforced not only by her litigation and advisory practice, but also by her analytical work: she is the author of publications on labour and family law, reflecting her systemic approach to the application of law and her in-depth understanding of current legal issues.

Alyona Prasol handles cases where precision of legal position, understanding of the regulatory environment and the ability to manage complex legal processes are decisive. Her approach is based on rigorous analysis, consistency of action and a results-oriented mindset in high-complexity situations.
